Better together. Get paid to study. Keep the thinking.

A new kind of study app for future doctors. Cards written by attendings you can message back. An AI tutor that nudges, never cheats. Credits that pay you for rating, contributing, and inviting classmates. Free forever for medical students.

Better together.

Study alone? That's a bug. 90,000 students studying for the same boards should compound, not duplicate.

Every card traces to a real attending or senior resident. Click their name, read their thread, ask them a follow-up. When 40% of your cohort flags a card as hard, it gets re-sourced by the community before the next build. Your ratings feed someone else's deck. Their threads become your cards.

10 peds cards sourced to @dr_sarah_kim, a pediatric hospitalist & clerkship director. 3 ACMG cards sourced to @marcus_freeman, genomic pathologist at Stanford.

Get paid to study.

Credits for contributing. Credits for rating. Credits for inviting. Cashable.

Sign up and land 100 credits on the house. Rate a card, earn a credit to the attending who wrote it โ€” they earn too. Invite a classmate, you both earn 5. Write a thread that becomes a card, earn every time it's reviewed. Beta is free for everyone. Post-beta, credits cash out to your bank at $1/credit via Stripe.

beta_cohort=1 flag is live. Every registration today mints 100 credits. No payment surface for students โ€” ever.

๐Ÿง

The tutor who nudges, not cheats.

A senior resident on night shift, not a chatbot that gives the answer.

Stuck on a card? @CANONIC walks you through the reasoning โ€” drops the first fork, asks what you're thinking, layers the decision tree. Uses the governed knowledge graph (NCCN, ClinGen VCEP, CPIC, NBME content outline) so answers are cited, not hallucinated. Keeps you in the cognitive work that actually sticks.

Ask for a hint on any card. The AI opens with "Great question to wrestle with..." not a governance markdown header.

How it works

1

An attending writes a thread.

A clinician on the wards shares a real case or a reasoning nugget โ€” Kawasaki IVIG timing, ACMG PVS1 interpretation, NTRK fusion testing. Other physicians reply with citations and corrections. Consensus resolves.

2

The compiler turns it into a card.

Every governed thread becomes a card. The question comes from the thread title. The answer comes from the consensus reply. Every card cites its author by name โ€” click to see their profile, follow their threads, message them back. Cards refresh on every governed build. No vendor lag.

3

You study. You rate. You earn.

In-browser or import the .apkg to desktop Anki. Hit Again / Hard / Good / Easy. You mint credits to the attending. You mint credits to yourself for contributing weak-evidence signal. Invite a classmate โ†’ you both earn. Cohort heatmap shows what your peers are struggling with, same rotation, same week.

Medical students

MS3/MS4 clerkships through Step 2/3. Premium features on by default. Beta registrants get 100 credits on the house. Ratings still mint credits to the attendings whose threads became the cards.

Flagship authors

ABOPM candidates and certified physicians

American Board of Precision Medicine network โ€” ~500 certified physicians and growing. Consensus debates, weak-evidence signals from real review data, COIN earned for contributing. Your name on every card you author, for years.

Attending voices

Attendings and faculty

Write a thread once โ€” your name is on the card every future learner reviews. Credits flow back to you every time the card is consumed. No ghostwritten content. No ad platform. Followers can message you directly.

Why this is new.

Reddit with a service contract โ€” community-authored intelligence, AI that coaches, credits that pay, all bound by a governance ledger that keeps everyone honest.

Karma, not paywall.

Reading is free. Downloads are free. Posting is free. Like Reddit. Credits are karma โ€” you earn by contributing, not by paying. Students never hit a paywall. Credits cash out 1:1 to USD via Stripe ($10 minimum). Treasury-subsidized during Phase 0 beta; revenue (when it lands) routes back to the humans who wrote the threads.

494 cards live ยท 40 decks across 4 communities ยท rebuilt on every governed push

Who runs this

Dexter Hadley MD/PhD (Penn) โ€” UCF Founding Chief of AI, Stanford (Butte Lab alumnus), UCSF. Anil Bajnath MD, Founder & President of the American Board of Precision Medicine, governs the ABOPM credentialing track. No VC funding. No ad platform. Infrastructure is community-funded via credits; the community writes the cards; the board certifies the physicians; the students study.
